Carlos Perez

    Studying under the guidance of the masters of cuisine at The French Culinary Institute, Chef Carlos Perez began his career in Manhattan, working at some of New York City's top restaurants before returning home to CT.  

      In 2006 Chef Perez opened La Palette Bakery in Watertown, operating it for 13 years, whilst taking the reins at a few notable restaurants over the span of time as Executive Chef. After gaining the attention of pronounced publications such as the New York Times, CT Magazine, Hartford Magazine, and Litchfield Magazine, Perez closed La Palette Bakery in June of 2019 to pursue Chez180.

     With dreams coming to fruition, Chef Perez and the team at Chez180 look to bring a whole culinary experience ranging from sweet to savory to Westport, CT and the surrounding communities.
